Delivery terms

General terms

Sessak.fi is a online store maintained by Sessak Oy Ab (FI21143641). The following terms and conditions are a component of the contractual relationship between Sessak Oy Ab and the customer when orders are placed via the website sessak.fi. Sessak Oy Ab maintains the right to change these terms unilaterally and without prior notice. Terms and conditions, manifested at the online stores Delivery and purchase terms -page at the time of order, shall apply. Sessak Oy Ab is not liable for damages caused by force majeure circumstances. Such circumstances include any unforeseeable circumstance which is beyond the control of a Sessak Oy Ab, or any unavoidable event, even if foreseeable, as a result of which Sessak Oy Ab is unable to perform its obligations, in whole or in part.

Delivery methods, time and cost

Our aim is that the customer should be able to enjoy our products as soon as possible. All items in stock will usually be delivered within Finland in 2-5 days from the date of order. In a best case scenario, the product will be delivered to the customer during the same week that order was placed! If a product is out of stock, it will be mentioned together with the product information, including the estimated time of arrival.

When you place the order, you can choose whether you want the products delivered to your company address, or directly to the address of your customer, with the invoice delivered to your company address.

Our logistics-partner for deliveries within Finland is Matkahuolto. Delivery-options include pick-up from a Matkahuolto point of service or delivery to the recipients door. For deliveries directly to the door, Matkahuolto or its delivery-partner always contact the recipient in advance. Another option of delivery is pick-up from our warehouse in Porvoo, in that case, a message will be sent to the recipient when the order is ready for pick-up..

  • Pick-up from the nearest Matkahuolto point of service (price 10,40€ vat. 0% / delivery)
  • Delivery to the recipient’s door or a place of business (price 15,40€ vat. 0% / delivery)
  • Pick-up from our warehouse during the business-hours of our Showroom at Puusepänkaarre 6, Porvoo. (no additional cost)

Did you find a product, but you want it delivered at a later point of time? In that case, please contact us by e-mail at mail@sessak.fi, and we will together agree on a suitable deliverytime for you.

As a customer, it is your duty at the time of placing your order, to provide us with up to date contact-details including at least the following: Invoicing address, name, complete address and mobile telephone -number of the recipient, as well as a e-mail address for delivery of the documents relevant to the order. The delivery-time estimates are based on the current stock as well as estimated times of arrival of incoming stock replenishment. Sessak Oy Ab is not responsible for delays caused by unforeseeable events in the delivery-chain.

Receiving a delivery

The exact time of delivery is determined by the place of delivery and the schedule of the delivery-company. Sessak Oy Ab can not control the exact time a delivery is made. The recipient must be available at the place of delivery to receive the parcels. The recipient must ensure that the listed number of parcels are delivered. The recipient must compare the items listed in delivery-note to the items delivered. In case there are deviations in the number or type of delivered items, or if there are damages to the parcels that have incurred during transportation, the recipient must inform Sessak of this as soon as possible, either through the form for reclamations on our web-page, or by contacting us by e-mail at mail@sessak.fi

Not picking up a delivery

If you chose as a delivery-method to pick up the delivery from a Matkahuolto point of service, but the recipient fails to pick it up during the time the parcels are kept there, we have to charge you the cost for the return shipment to our warehouse. Any additional storage-costs caused by delayed pick-up will also be charged on the customer.

Purchase terms

Prices and products

All items in the online store are priced in euros (€). We preserve the rights for errors in the information presented on the web page regarding availability and pricing as well as for typographical -mistakes on our web page and in our advertisements. If inaccuracies in pricing or delivery-times occur, we preserve the right to correct the information afterwards.

We aim to always present the features and appearance of our products as truthfully as possible. There may be small variations in color and details caused by technical reasons such as the features and calibration of computer monitors. There may be also small differences between the item presented on our web page and the actual item received, due to natural or productional causes.

Pyment options and order confirmation

In the Sessak.fi-online store you can pay either by invoice or choose Paytrail as your payment option.

For invoicing, we need the e-invoicing information of your company. The receipt for the orders and payments can be download on your Own account -page.

Payment service terms

When you choose to use Paytrail as your payment option, Sessak Oy Ab (FI21143641) follows the payment service terms and conditions of Paytrail Oyj (FI21228397). The terms can be found at: https://www.paytrail.com/en/terms-and-conditions When you choose invoicing as your payment option, we follow the terms and conditions that we together have agreed on.

Reclamations and warranty

The warranty -period of products sold at the sessak.fi online store varies as follows:

  • Products of the Sessak brand: 12 months from the time of purchase.
  • Products of the By Rydéns brand: 60 months from the time of purchase.
  • Products of the Calex brand: 24 months from the time of purchase.

If you find a defect in a product you bought from us, the easiest way forward is to fill in the reclamation form. By filling in the form with as great detail as possible, you ensure that the matter will be handled smoothly.
